Puente Negro

Just a mere 10 minutes from the local Chapelco Airport, our lodge, Puente Negro, serves as a fabulous home base during your stay. With private access to miles of the Chimehuin River out the back door, and a short drive to some of northern Patagonia’s other finest trout streams, the location of Puente Negro is what sets it apart. The cute town of San Martín de Los Andes is only 20 minutes away! The main lodge is housed in an old ranch home that has a rich history. Its stone exterior is stunning against the backdrop of large peaks, tall poplar trees, and abundant roses. Step inside where colorful textiles and attention to detail make any guest feel cozy and comfortable. Puente Negro has four rooms, for a total capacity of eight anglers. The living room bar is the place to be after a day on the river, where new hors d’ouerves await you each evening. The food is divine - our chef uses fresh ingredients to craft meals that are second to none. Sit outside around the fire on asado night, taking in the view, and sipping cocktails made from local liquors. Puente Negro is a family run lodge, with Nico and Bryn as your hosts, and our hope is that you feel right at home in our little slice of paradise!
